Golden Gate Bridge Copy in Hunan / China

Es ist soweit: Die Golden Gate Bridge wird kopiert! Wo sonst, außer in China? In Hunan wird also eine Brücke gebaut, die schon sehr stark an die berühmte Brücke in San Francisco erinnert. Natürlich passt auch die Farbe: rot. Hier schonmal ein Gemälde von der Brücke und ein Photo von der Baustelle:
Und hier noch einige mehr News zum Thema von RedNet.cn: “[The suspension] will span the Aizhai Gorge on the Jishou-Chadong Expressway in west Hunan Province. The bridge’s main span is designed to reach 1,176 meters. With an estimated investment of 720 million yuan (US$105.38 million), the bridge is expected to be completed by 2011.”
